It was a week packed full of activities and fun with friends. Here are a few of the 25 women who arrived from all over the country at a Meet and Greet the first day.
There was hiking every day. This is Cindy on an early morning walk over the suspension bridge to the Baynard Trail.

This part of Florida has a long history of cattle farming.

Some of us made a day trip to Plant City for strawberry shortcake. Donna was named the official Shortcake Queen.

There were several pot luck dinners with lots of good food.
Which meant I needed plenty of hikes. This is the Wetlands Trail.
We also did a lot of kayaking on the river.
We paddled from the campground kayak launch past the park boundary into a neighboring county park and back again...about a two hour run.
The Seminole Trail follows the river.
One day my daughter, Heather, and family came to play with me. We rented canoes. This is Heather and grandson, Ben.

Another day Cindy and I took a day trip to Tarpon Springs. I did a separate blog post about that.
All-in-all it was a wonderful week with friends and family. Beautiful Spring weather all week.
